Andrea Caldarise: Artist/Collaborator

_ I'm a painter, collage-maker and mapper.  I wish I could draw time.  When I was little, I use to create elaborate imaginary spaces, and when I learned to draw, I illustrated them based on my favorite places.  Most of the time, I devise elaborate systems of orienteering to get myself around.  With my failed septa experiments, getting on the wrong bus, and finding myself at new intersections, I explore the space around me.  I love walking, or perpetual motion.  In life and art, where you end up is only half as interesting as the converging points, encounters and ideas that guide you there.
