I’m a food scientist. I languish away my 9-5 at a lab bench making the world a tastier place. I rushed towards nothing through high school in 3 years, and found myself in college. I had been dancing Latvian Folk Dances all my life and began choreographing in college. A relentless performer, I find that performance is about connection with the audience. A piece isn’t a performance unless there is an audience there to appreciate it. The city of Philadelphia has fed me with numerous opportunities to scratch my itch. I am here today because I love to dance, and I keep finding great people that see more in me than I might see in myself.
